Centrifugal Disc Finishing
       A rotating disc is situated at the bottom of a stationary tub. As the disc rotates a centrifugal force is generated and the accelerated contents rise upwards along the sidewall of the stationary tub. Then at the top dead center the contents lose the upward acceleration and flow downwards like an eddy flow due to the gravitational force.  It is easy to operate and easily automated. Due to inherent gap between rotating disc and tub walls special considerations must be given to part and media selection for this type of processing.

Vibratory Barrel Finishing
A vibratory motor, shaft mounted with eccentric weights on both the top and bottom, generates 3D vibratory movement as it rotates on its axis. This generates the vibrating spiral movement of the contents. Flow is generated and adjusted by the frequency of motor rpm and the position of the eccentric weights. The flow speed is slow but the friction force created is large due to the acceleration generated by vibrations. High capacity and efficiency is achieved thus a superior choice for mass production.

Centrifugal Barrel Finishing

     Four barrels are mounted to a turret, the turret's main shaft and the barrel shafts are mounted on the same pulley generating a planetary motion.  As the pulley rotates the turret the barrels remain in their original position generating the centrifugal force within the barrel.  A strong pressure is created in the barrel, up to 9 G's of force which makes centrifugal barrel finishing the most aggressive system available.
